Encountered an Improper Object

I'm getting a red X and "Encountered an Improper Argument" dialog box when double-clicking a camera window in playback mode, I click OK and it goes away.
Last week I posted about missing footage and when selecting a clip (say, a night time clip) then a daytime clip opening. No one ever commented on that thread but I have a feeling there's an issue with my video database?
I'm really kind of torn, I need "a" piece of software to manage security but to be honest in my experience the past 2 weeks running BI5 have not been without a moderate amount of pain. Suggestions on my issues or other software that may be better suited?

Occasionally, I get the 'Invalid argument'. It's so vague and I cannot reproduce it, that I haven't reported it.
