Using Blue Iris software to my Zosi NVR

I have just purchased a Zosi security system with a NVR. However I prefer to Blue Iris software and app to the Zosi app and am trying to get the Blue Iris software to link to my NVR but not having much luck. Can this be done and if so what do I need to do to get it to work?
