stuntflyer ,
Since the files are so new the AV is detecting as a virus. I am using Norton AV and had to let Norton know that the files are ok to install.

I did manage to get the latest DS finally installed and working, however, it seems Deepstack is tripping off the AV software I am using (Avira) every time the DS server.exe is invoked. Anything specific I need to tell the folks at Avira so they can update their signatures and stop this from happening, or is that something you have to do?
Thanks
Steve
You need the let Avira know the DS server.exe is ok to run. I am not sure on how to do this with Avira. The below Google search might help.

Is it normal for motion detection to not work properly when using sub-stream at night?
I notice if I use substream, it won't detect a person when passing by more than 15-20 feet away.
If I disable substream it detects motion 100% of the time at the same distance.
Is it because of the pixelated image when using substream or do I need to make any changes?
I even set it to the lowest sensitivity setting, but it won't work properly. Sometimes it detects a person at 69%, but then cancels the motion and says nothing found.
If not using sub stream, that never happens at night and I get detected even at 40-50 feet away.

When using sub stream try setting the mode to High this should help with the detection

Would the High Setting affect it during daytime?
If so, would I be able to schedule when to use the high setting?

Are newer versions of DeepStack compatible with BI, or does BI need a specific version to work?

I didn't need to make this change, DeepStack 2022.01.1 is started (just realized I'm on 5.5.5.1)... but It seems it is not returning any detection results?
{
"api":"general",
"found":{
"success":true,
"predictions":[
]
,
"duration":0}
}

Post some screenshots of the camera AI settings and the main AI settings. Also are you using the GPU version of DeepStack or CPU version of DeepStack

I installed DeepStack 2022.01.1, it starts up fine, and the "Test" button works.
However, no objects are being detected. I have tried WITH and WITHOUT custom models.
Uninstalling DeepStack 2022.01.1 and replacing it with DeepStack 2021.09.fixes everything immediately.
Here are my settings.
I tried with: Use Custom Models On/Off, Default Object Detection On/Off
I tried with deleting the Custom Object Model options.
What I noticed is that with 2022.01.01, the motion detection boxes when playing back a clip don't show any AI statistics (i.e. car 85%), just orange boxes.

Are you using the GPU or CPU version of DeepStack? The setting you have looks fine
