Thank you SO MUCH YrbkMgr for posting the screen shot of your running services! (And also for all the information you posted!)
Since you were running a 32 bit BlueIrisService.exe, I decided to fire up my old Windows 7 computer and copied the BlueIrisService.exe from the old system as I knew it hadn't been tampered with by Windows and installed the old service on my current system. I rebooted and then started Blue Iris. Though I did have to edit some of the Camera properties as I'd changed many of them attempting to get Blue Iris running properly, once I had that done, everything is working almost perfectly!
I am still running Blue Iris 4.8.6,3
The BlueIrisService.exe (32 bit) is running before and after I start Blue Iris 4
My goal now is to be running Blue Iris 5.
It's now been four days since I wrote to Support and still no response.
I've read on the Internet that you only had a couple of months after expiration to update to Version 5 and that it is no longer active. Reading something on the Internet however isn't always accurate.
So for the time being, I'll just wait to hear from Support! and continue with Blue Iris 4.
Thanks to everyone that has helped me!
Vicki
