This concerns zone triggering - when an abject moves from one zone to another.tlex wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 6:49 pm ...
Also, MikeBwca, I don't understand you point 4 (Connect zones A and B together or they cannot cross - so, add an addition zone (I always use G) that covers zone A, the gap, and Zone B.) because, let say I create that zone G, where is it refered to ? where do you configure BI to use the zone G ?

If Zones touch each other, or, overlap, then this does not apply.
But, if you want a gap between you zones, you'll need to connect your zones.
Why would you want a gap between zones, you may ask... If there is shadow movement in the area you want triggered, or, lights from cars, lets say.
This is accomplished by separating the 2 zones (Zones A & B). Then, drawing a 3rd zone (Zone G) over both zones A & B and the gap between them. In this way, zones A & B, even though they are not touching each other, are connected by Zone G. When an object moves thru zone B thru the gap into zone A, it will trigger.
You'll need to add the zone triggering 'A-B' in the motion sensor settings, in Object Detection/Object crosses zones'.
I've painted a 2 examples. There kind of crude - I used windows Paint!
Zone A & B...
Connecting Zone G... (Change to Zone G, then draw)
