I received the below email last week from Chris Maunder one of the main developers of CodeProject.AI.
Matthew and I have both left CodeProject which has been a bit of a sad occasion. We’re still trying to dust ourselves off, but we both still plan on contributing to CodeProject.AI.

Ya, looks like most of the lead DEV's jumped ship or quit, really unsure by the postings. Either way at the moment CPAI's future is not looking good and there were no status updates on the CPAI website prior to it going down for "maintenance".
One of the threads on their forum was asking for a changelog for v2.8 and this is where they announced they were no longer with CPAI?
Not sure how you download & save the modules other than installing them. If you could give us some details that would be great Tommyt57.
I saw the writing on the wall a few days ago when I noticed the replies to the thread on the CPAI forums and installed a few extra modules. I'm going to be extra cautious and make a backup of the boot drive on my BI system as it is right now as everything works. CPAI has been a real bugger to get working right since I "upgraded" from the 2.5RC.
You can download the modules from the below link, the links will redirect you to GitHub. The only issue you will have manual install the module is that the models will not download. You can find my models on GitHub also.

Thanks for the links, I'd have no idea how to install manually unfortunately.

To install the module manual head to the module's folder ([app root]\modules\module-id), open a terminal in admin mode, and run ..\..\setup. This will force a manual reinstall using the install script.

FWIIW: on github, it looks (to me) like the devs are still on board. At any rate, the docker images are still available. I just pulled 2.8 onto my Pi 5 and it is working. If someone needs to do an install and the download site is still down, just run CPAI in a docker image. That is how we run it anyway, in debian systems running on ESXi servers.

CodeProject.AI software is not dead, see the post from 5 days ago. I also have personal email from Chris confirming that him and Matthew will continue developing the software

Thanks for the replies. I'm non-technical and could barely get CPAI and 1 YOLO module working properly when it self-installed for my BI setup. This is way beyond my abilities. GL to you and the team.

I would wait until the move to github is complete and things are sorted. I am unaware of anything else that works with BI anyway.
