Camera is a FULUVA X-dfq650-4mp-poe x-series. Nothing in their instructions explains anything. The I Frame Interval default is 2.
I don't have this camera so I can't install the camera software (VMS) that configures the FULUVA series X camera to confirm how it interprets the I-Frame Interval setting. But, based on the manufacturer's support website at http://www.fuluva.cn/x-support.html (PDFs, YouTube videos, etc), the I-Frame Interval setting of "2" can only mean that it generates an I-Frame (full frame picture) every 2 seconds. Since the your camera's FPS is configured for 15, then an I-Frame Interval setting of "2" would translate to generating an I-Frame every 30 video frames (2 * 15).

To fix your problem where your FULUVA series X cameras in Blue Iris are missing the first few seconds of every motion triggered video clip:

1) I would change the I-Frame Interval settings to "1" on one of your cameras because it means seconds not frames and test in Blue Iris.

You camera's default I-Frame Interval of 2, is causing Blue Iris to start recording late and thus missing the first 2 seconds of every video recording. This occurs because Blue Iris must start recording on the next I-Frame (full frame picture). If Blue Iris started recording on a partial frame (P-frame or B-frame), then your video would look distorted until it received the next I-Frame.

2) In addition, I would go into Blue Iris Camera Settings for that same camera and set the "Pre-trigger video buffer" to 3-5 seconds. You can find this settings in Blue Iris camera settings properties -> record tab. The "Pre-Trigger video buffer" setting allows you to capture video before the motion trigger.

If both these suggestions don't help, then I would ask Blue Iris support for help with your FULUVA series X camera. When sending an e-mail to Blue Iris support, make sure you click the "Email support" button in Blue Iris Settings -> About tab and paste (CTRL-V) this information into your e-mail's body of text.

Thank you reddawg!

I dont have an option for 264 compression. It is 265 or 265X.

I will give it a try!
