Help with expanding system

I don't have a HikVision so I can't suggest what to use other than to try multiple options I have some of my cameras set to Generic ONVIF/RTSP and the RTSP option with /cam/realmonitor?channel={CAMNO}&subtype=1&authbasic={AUTH64} in both the main and substream although subtype=0 on the main line. I also have used some Dahua RTSP settings with that line and some Amcrest RTSP with that as well. I only have one camera I haven't been able to make work with substreams even though the main stream is setup as /cam/realmonitor?channel={CAMNO}&subtype=0&authbasic={AUTH64} and works fine, it just won't work with the substream on that one for some reason.

Hello!

Thanks. I set the camera to Generic ONVIF/RTSP
Both RTSP options are checked on in blue Iris.
I set the main stream to
/cam/realmonitor?channel={CAMNO}&subtype=0&authbasic={AUTH64}
and the sub stream to
/cam/realmonitor?channel={CAMNO}&subtype=1&authbasic={AUTH64}

I still see video, but in the General tab both feeds are streaming at full rez (2.1 Mbsp I believe)

any insight?

What's in that profiles drop down on the camera's substream options?

It's set to "Main Profile", but there is also a "High Profile" in the drop down.

Leave that at "base" or the lowest setting as BI can't talk the manufacturer specific lingo of the Higher stuff.
