The file length for that clip is only 3072? Seems strangley short?

Also your other files, instead of the time they have 000000 so if you are splitting files at say 1Gb or 1hour then one file will overwrite the other won’t it?

Show us the record tab for one of the cams that has 000000 in the file name?

You might have something there. I checked mine, and most are not ending with 000000 :o

Morning

Well I finally figured it out

Only allowed onsite on Saturdays and certain hours so with that :

The external 16 T drive did not have the correct security/read/write privileges as it was not allowing the clip to be saved correctly . I opened the sharing/security and it started working normally . I did get a call during the week that there are some related issues and I'll go back today and see what is occurring now . But THIS was the original issue, and it is resolved.

God only knows what this new issue is !

Thank You for ALL of the help and apologies for not getting back sooner !

Regards

Rich

No issues to report as all of the clips are viewable ! So the Shared drive was not set up correctly and all is working .

Good Morning

Apologies for not getting back sooner!

What I found:

The 10 Terabyte External USB drive I bought from Amazon was actually blocking the clips/recordings/new saved etc. causing the clips not to be opened
I changed back to the older 16 terabyte drive we had and everything worked fine !
I did not diagnose the drive as We spent a LOT of time onsite with the hacking as I just moved on from this
The next chance I get I'll add the model of the drive etc.
This site was originally hacked and we had tons of issues
All fixed now as We have been up and running for approx. 6 months now with no issues to report
Forgot to post as I just came across this older posting that I made

Thx

Regards

Rich
