I think I've screwed up anyway I seemed to have lost days.. I copied the files in storage back into new and rebuild the DB - anyway I only have two weeks footage because of the lack of space on that single drive.
I'm getting this but it's now moving BVRs to E: the 3TB WD Black
If the days do not come back am I better off just deleting everything and starting over I really don't mind. Nothing important to preserve anyway.
Also is there any harm having the DB file located on my C: drive which is an M.2 if not I'll leave on one of the external HDD's?
I'll let this run it's course if not I'll blitz the lot.. not sure why it's over allocated if the data is from the same bloody drive..
Can only attach 3 attachments wanted to show you if my provisions for space are correct because something is off.
I'll reply and attach the rest.

I may just stop it all and delete all BVRS and start fresh this maintenance thing keeps on going.. and the size on the NEW drive remains the same and so far 50gb has been moved... unless this is playing catchup because the date of the BVRS are dated 14/12/2023 and moving onwards..

If the clips aren't of vital importance I would personally start fresh with the storage arrangement.
Most would recommend the database being located on the system drive. Some would also include 'New' on the system drive with a fairly rapid rotation schedule to other destinations. Opionions vary there, primarily with SSDs over spinners for the re-write considerations.

Yeah I've trashed the lot and started fresh and made sure there is at least 10gb headroom on each drive.. Just wanted to ask.. I'm confused about my alert setup.
See attached.. Also, no files are actually being created in the Alerts folder ? I take it the thumbnails that are shown when you select Alerts from blue iris to get a glimpse of a trigger are stored in the actual BVR files , is this the case? So what gets stored in Alerts then? High Res images if enabled ?

Yes, JPG's and DAT files if you are using CPAI and saving the data. Check your status/ Storage graphs too.

Alerts need to set up and triggered before they show up anywhere.
