I know this is an old thread but I've been using the Wyze cam v2 and PTZ versions (about 8 V2 and 2 PTZ) for a few years now. I switched to RTSP when the firmware came out and experienced the same issues reported in this thread. The best way to fix the issue of the camera going no signal and staying that way is to setup a scheduled restart every 6 hours in the Wyze app. This is not optimal as I have the cameras on their own network segment with no internet access but its what it is. So with that in mind I have a scheduled rule on my firewall that allows them access for 10 minutes at the same time as the Wyze rule every 6 hours. The disconnect/reconnect throughout the day is something I've never fixed in all my BlueIris settings. I have found they perform better when you disable all the camera side detection and recording settings. I'm of the opinion they are just not powerful enough to do RTSP properly and though they are cheap plan to move them out to my lower priority buildings on my property and replace them.
