Trigger cooldown / delay time

I have an Amcrest 4K 2.0 mm camera near my front door. This camera points down the front entry walkway and captures my porch lights as well as a light pole. I have these lights set to turn on when the front door camera is triggered, turning my entry lights into motion lights.
The problem I'm having is when the trigger is done, I send an alert to turn off the lights. When the lights turn off the change is drastic enough to cause the camera to trigger, causing the lights to turn back on. This cycle continues all night. I've worked around this by suppressing the the alerts, but this is not ideal as it has two draw backs. 1) The camera will be triggered again, even if the alert isn't fired, wasting valuable disk space unnecessarily. 2) If there is legitimate motion, this will cause the camera to re-trigger. Once the camera is re-triggered it can outrun the minimum delay between alerts timer I've set, causing the cameras to trigger again.
Is there a way to have the camera not trigger for a set amount of time after they reset?
