BI Updated - now it won't start

I just received an automatic update from Blue Iris and now the app won't start. Any ideas?? Is there a safe mode or do I have to re-install?

Do you get any error messages or any other indications when it fails to start?

Does the BI log show anything?

I had the same problem, it was Blue Iris version 5.2.9.8 and when it updated it complained about a changed dll file from Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 redistributal so I uninstalled BI then reinstalled and let the program also reinstall visual c++ and it was ok after that. But I haven't updated since and now see version 5.2.9.11 so I may try later to see if it will update ok or not.

I updated BI today to version 5.2.9.11 and everything was ok no problems to report. My best guess at least in my case was some program I installed changed the version of the dll file from Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 and BI did not like that so when I removed and reinstalled BI it also reinstalled said dll and everything was ok after that. Hope this might help someone else.
