Corrupt video when using direct-to-disk with hikvision ds-2cd2385fwd-i

Post by jbisson »

Hey guys, I've been trying to find the reason but can't really figure it out... There seems to have some issue when trying to use a high resolution stream from my hikvision camera: ds-2cd2385fwd-i. I do have couple of cameras and they all doing the same thing. If I reset setting the mp4 file will be fine but it seems after a while (like a day or so), all of the alerts mp4 files get corrupted.

- Doesn't seem to be a codec issue as I'm able to view them (after camera reset)
- I'm getting a good fps (18fps at night and 30fps at day)
- A try to disable the hardware accelerated decode in blue iris settings but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, have you tried it with the default bvr file format ? Try setting one of the cameras to that and see if there is any change ?
