disabling schedules

Is there a way to completely disable schedules?
My setup:
The cameras will send email alerts under Profile 1 and will NOT send email alerts under Profile 2. When I'm off site I manually set it to Profile 1 to get the email alerts. When I'm on site I manually set it to Profile 2 so that I don't get a lot of emails. Works great except that at some unknown time the system automatically reverts to Profile 1 and I start getting the unwanted emails.
I've unchecked the Enable check box in the Schedule pane.
