I am using Blue Iris v4 with a few Eufy 2k Indoor Cams, there was no issue, all good.

Today, I decided to try Blue Iris v5, but cannot get the app to connect to the cameras right.

See the v4 config image below. I tried to replicate it by

attempt 1:
- set video config as "rtsp://192.168.1.150/live0"
- no user name and password as before, RTSP port = 554
- outcome is, error camera no signal
- this should be the most straightforward way to specify RTSP

attempt 2:
- set video config as "http://192.168.1.150/live0"
- make = generic, model = *RTSP H.264/H.265...", cam# = 1
- main = "", sub = ""
- outcome is, error camera no signal, error 800002741 failed to connect

attempt 3:
- set video config as "http://192.168.1.150"
- make = generic, model = *RTSP H.264/H.265...", cam# = 1
- main = "/live0", sub = ""
- outcome is, error camera no signal

attempt 4:
- set video config as "http://192.168.1.150"
- make = generic, model = *VLC-compatible RTSP", cam# = 1
- main = "/live0", sub = ""
- outcome is, YES got image, but disconnects every minute or so, when v4 never had any disconnect issue

So what is the right config for v5 with the v4 config shown below? Really weird that v5 took a step backwards...

Similar experience here: nine cameras worked seamlessly on V4 and only six of them work in V5. Initially, I believed that my i3 machine was the problem, outdated and under-resourced. Upgraded to Win10 on Gen2 6-core Ryzen and 16GB DDR4. 20-fold performance increase--same exact result. Spent hours tweaking settings, everything I could think of in addition to forum suggestions. Still batting ZERO.

Cameras that work:
All Hikvision various models
Panasonic BLC-1

Cameras that don't:
Microseven
Dahua PTZ

Error 800002746 (Socket error 10054)

All nine cameras still work reliably on my network and IPCamviewer (Android). The app relies on port forwarding, the elimination of which is kind of the whole point of getting BI5 working!

I finally got Eufy camera to work with Blue Iris 5.0, In fact it was too simple, just click the "Decoder compatibility mode". To get sound, select RTSP.

ctny: Nice catch !

justifiedkw: Start a new thread and we will try to help you. I think Dahua are well supported in BI5, but I don't know the other make.
