Time & Date Overlay - Showing on Recordings

Hi

When I'm looking at my cameras on my PC there are no overlays set, apart from for two of our cameras, which is the way I set it up.

However, now when I view the alerts and save export videos to file the date and time is included in the video for all cameras. I guess this was introduced in a recent update, but can anyone tell me how to turn it off?! I've checked the Overlay option and this is still turned off under camera settings and is also turned off within the OSD within the camera software.

Any guidance appreciated!
Thanks
Sam

When you say "timestamps are not there when you are looking at your camera" do you when you are looking at your camera in its native web browser page or do you mean they are not there when looking at the camera in BI?

There was a change where BI can now use overlays on direct-to-disk recordings by regenerating the overlays from metadata when playing back d2d files.

Hi

Thanks for your prompt response. I view our cameras through Blue Iris either on the PC or on our IOS devices. So that would make sense re the overlays and d2d thank you. I've found the option to turn that off in the Convert/Export box - I unchecked the Add Text/graphic overlays from direct-to-disc BVR within the Re-encode video section and that appears to have worked.

Thank you :D
