Hi,
I have a few systems that have more than 40 cameras being recorded on a dedicated NVR / DVR. One of the new policy requirements is a screen to display all cameras at once. The DVRs and NVRs have a limit of 32 on screen at once.
What hardware would you recommend as a minimum for displaying (not recording) a large number of cameras at once? Down to about 10FPS would be acceptable and some sites have 50 cameras. They are not bothered about the size of the individual camera feeds, as long as they are all there ...
Any recommendation much appreciated.
Cheers

Did you end up finding the right hardware? I also need to display about 30-40 cameras all at once

phew, 49 cameras would be a 7x7 matrix. maximized on a 4K screen, 3840x2160, thats going to be 548 x 308 each. best to use substreams for that sort of previewing. adding one more to 50 means a 10x5 or a 8x7 with a bunch of blank slots.
