Cancelled Alerts & Spike in CPU usage

Greetings All,
Is there a way to get rid of canceled alerts? I understand they will be deleted at the frequency each user selects. Would be nice to have the option to tick a box so the Deepstack would not log them.
Over the last couple of days, I noticed a huge concerning increase in my CPU load. Normally it varies between 12 and 30%, but I've noticed it spike in upwards of very high 90's and even 101% at one point. Anyone else experience this spike? It seems to be over the last couple of updates. It's defiantly Deepstack (DS) processing the scene.
I have 10 cams (Dahua, Hikvision, Amcrest) some running at 15 others at 20 FPS. DS is only enabled on 8, and the DS real-time image processing is set a 5.
