traffic light is red in BlueIris Companion though it works fine

What is the meaning of the traffic light in BlueIris Companion, please? Sometimes (on a Windows 10 PC client) the traffic light is red yet BlueIris Companion appears to be working (accesses the BlueIris server over Ethernet, displays live cameras). Many thanks for any insights you can provide.

Is that by Ken's team ? I have never used it. Has it been updated at any time ? BI5 is changing all the time, so if it's 3rd part software it could easily get left behind.
