Plate Recognition

Post by Lentomannen »

Hi.
My first post in this forum :-)
I have filled up my quota on ALPR account.
There seem to be a lot of false triggers.
Like the attached images.
The overlay name and date are from BI, not from the camera. But it seems that the ALPR tries to decode the numbers anyway.
Any tips?

- Remove the overlay.
- Pay for BI to remove the evaluation overlay.

There is no other (legal) option.

Hi thank you for your answer.

Of course, I will buy a license when i have evaluated the software.

Remove the overlay?
Is BI´s overlay really detected by deep stack and ALPR? Do the software really see this in the raw stream from the camera?
I read in some post that the camera's overlay should be removed to avoid detection?

If the overlay comes from the camera, then yes, it's on the video stream, and would most likely be detected by BI & DS.

I've enabled the date/time & Name on the camera. When the Seconds/Minute/Hour/Date changes, BI will sometimes detect this as motion. To resolve this, In Trigger/Motion Sensor, I've ticked 'Use zones and hot spots', and cleared the area where the date/time/name appears.
