BI auto restarting after windows update?

I'm using release 5.4.9.14 x64 and Blue Iris repeatedly crashing then restarting, over and over again ever minute or two. I didn't find any problems in Event Viewer but this did occur immediately after a reboot following the installation of several Windows 10 updates.
I uninstalled update kb5005031 and BI is now stable but has anyone else countered this?
