I use the feature all time of double clicking on one camera to maximize it and see the main stream. I then double click to return to viewing all cameras.
The problem I am running into is on PTZ cameras. When I double click it sends the command to move (or zoom depending on mouse position) to the camera. This is undesirable.
I know that in the past a double click would not move the camera but return to showing all cameras. Admittedly, this was awhile ago. Maybe even Blue Iris 4 that it worked this way.
Is there a way or option to be able to double click on a camera without moving or zooming?
Can I double click on camera to maximize and again to minimize but not ptz?
Re: Can I double click on camera to maximize and again to minimize but not ptz?
I'm running BI5 v5.4.9.18 here, and I've just tried this on the BI5 GUI and with UI3 in Chrome browser with a Dahua and with a Foscam ptz camera.
BI5 GUI needs a double click to max the camera image, but it doesn't make the ptz move.
UI3 only needs a single click to max the camera image, but it doesn't make the ptz move.
BI5 GUI uses the Esc button to return to the main screen, and the ptz camera doesn't move.
UI3 uses the Esc button to return to the main screen, and the ptz camera doesn't move.
From that, I guess that double clicking on a maximised image is seen as a valid ptz movement command.
