Anyone figure out if there is a way to support Ring Cameras on BI? I have someone who wants to use BI, but they also have several Ring Cameras they would like to use on the system.
While we are at it, how about cameras connected to alarm.com? Alarm.com uses similar (if not the exact same) cameras as those manufactured by Anpviz, but they are hard coded to connect to the alarm.com cloud service. I know there are hacks out there to get into the cameras at boot time and add an additional user which would then allow you to manipulate the camera config.
Appreciate if anyone has some details on any of this.

Ring Camera Support?
BI latest versions at numerous sites on both Intel and AMD platforms.
Re: Ring Camera Support?
For BI and Ring, there is a hack where you use the public URL from the Ring servers for your Ring Camera as an ingest url to BI. This depends on Ring never changing that URL and the fact that it is publicly available.
Most find that it is best to just bite the bullet and post the Ring for sale and then get an open ONVIF camera for BI.
