I use Blue Iris Tools to capture a weatherunderground station near me and display it as overlay text in a virtual camera. This is meant to document the current weather conditions (see attachment below). I have this virtual camera set to record, but BI does not create any clip files of this 'stream'. Because of this, when I go back to view past video of this camera, it is just a black screen with no text. The camera type I set up is currently set to "Screen capture" Blackness/Primary.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to reconfigure Blue Iris to save this virtual camera output so its overlay text is visible during play back later?
