Webcast - Flash Media Live Encoding
Webcast - Flash Media Live Encoding
Does anyone know if this even works anymore with YouTube? Tried it and it pushes no video
Re: Webcast - Flash Media Live Encoding
It worked for me - the trick was that even if your source does not contain Audio, you must send the Audio stream (Camera Settings, Audio, Webcast Audio)
Then Camera Settings, Webcast, Flash Media Live Recording, Enable, RTMP URL = rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2, Stream Key = Your Stream Key leave everything else default, then 'OK'. I broadcast a live stream for nearly a week, YouTube dasboard complained a fair bit about not enough keyframes, bit rate issues etc, but it seemed to work quite reliably all the same.
But the key for me was that without Audio Enabled, nothing happens - I wish I could remember the source of the blog post or video I found the hint on that showstopper issue, If I find it again I will try to update here.
