Deepstack Installation

Post by yourpalfranc »

I'm trying to get Deepstack running. I've checked the information in the onboarding discussion, and followed the default Deepstack installation from the video from the Hook Up, but I'm still getting the error: Could not start; check path.

I'm able to start Deepstack manually on port 82, and I can browse to the Deepstack splash page at http://localhost:82/. But, still getting the error when trying to start Deepstack from the BI Settings/AI tab start button.

I've looked throughout my C:\deepstack folder and I can't find a server.exe file. In C:\deepstack\server there are files deepstack.exe and server.go.

So, I could use some help. Thanks in advance!!

I figured out the issue and now have Blue Iris starting DeepStack version 2022.01.1. The issue was DS version 2021.09.01 had two of the same files just named differently in folder "C:\DeepStack\server" one was named deepstack.exe and the other was named server.exe. Blue Iris is trying to starts up server.exe. DeepStack version 2022.01.1 only has one file in folder "C:\DeepStack\server" named deepstack.exe. The fix was copy deepstack.exe in the same folder with the file name server.exe.

Thanks for the reply, but as I mentioned in my post, my installation does not have a file named server.exe, and deepstack.exe and server.go are currently in the same folder (c:\deepstack\server). I cannot find a file named server.exe ANYWHERE in the c:\deepstack directory structure.

Copy deepstack.exe in the same folder and name the file server.exe.

The information you posted with your serial number is for EMAIL support to Blue Iris, not for the forum - you are sharing your license number and WAN IP with the world, and BI support does not answer support questions here. My advice would be to edit your post and remove all of that support data entirely.
