Hello there, I have a amcrest camera which doesnt support zoom.

I need the zoom functionality and am wondering if blue iris let me do the digital zoom and then stream zoomed camera through rtsp.

is that possible?
Thank you

I have three Amcrest, 2 bullet and one indoor PTZ. Out of curiosity, why would you do that? Here's why I ask... in the BI console, or UI3 (browser) you can zoom to whatever you want. If it's live view or video playback. The mouse wheel zooms. Doing it the way you're proposing limits the Field of View recorded and you would reduce what was recorded.

What outcome are you trying to achieve? I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of ways to get there from here.

Thank you for reply.

Point is that we need to zoom camera to a target so that only the target is visible and no other people/objects around it should be recorded. We are using AI to analyse the object, and it will not work if camera sees more then the object itself, thats why we need to zoom and focus on the object only.

Also, AI software is using camera stream in order to do its job, that is why only using zoom function within browser is not enough, it has to be streamed as well.

Mounting the camera closer would work, but is impossible in a room setup we use, unfortunately.
