picture quality of live feed BI VS camera UI/VLC

Post by surgefix »

wondering if anyone have an idea why the picture quality of live feed is much better from the camera UI but much worse in blue iris .

when opening the rtsp in vlc its also better so i don't think its anything to do with web interface of camera but something about BI

the camera is no logo dauha IPC-HDW4631C-A

i am attaching 2 pictures , hard not to notice the differences

Could be just me, but which image came from where is unclear. "Much better" is a subjective term. 111 is larger than 222 - is 111 better? You have an overlay on 111 - is that contributing to the luminosity difference between the two? Until we know how you got there, it's a guess. Maybe you mean something else altogether... there's plenty of help here, but in the words of Jerry McGuire.

i should have explain my self better , picture with overlay is screenshot from bi , picture without is screenshot from vlc when playing the rtsp://,

when saying qulity is much better i was referring to colors , out side of bi colors are much more vibrant .

it seems that bi dont show the raw image like it comes from camera , is there away to stream the actual image with original color profile ? why bi changing color profile of actual original feed ?
