All Alerts have disappeared

Post by ULTRA77 »

Hello, I have a problem which started last night.

All my Alerts have disappeared. I have since deleted and regenerated the DB in an attempt to fix this but nothing.

I still have all my Clips showing.

Running 5.8.0.11

Has anyone had this happen before?

OK, also running v5.8.0.11 here, and no problem with Alerts. Please send a message to Support.

From help:
Database Delete and Regenerate
"Please note that video and JPEGs are retained, but alert images and other flags that exist only in the database will be lost"

As Tim said, it also depends on how much storage is allocated for alerts. I think the default is 1G.
Some time back, I had pointers to alerts scrambled. Got a good response/help from support to recover but I am still unsure exactly what caused it. Been OK for over 2 months, but I am still back level on BI. Too many changes going on with new cameras and AI and such. Leaving things alone has made it all boring.
