Hi,
I have a very strange problem: I'm running BlueIris on an Intel NUC i5.
The NUC does not have a monitor attached to it, but I can access it through remote desktop. As long as my remote desktop connection is open I have no dropped frames and all is OK; as soon as I close the RDC I only get frames every 5-10 seconds... I reopen remote desktop: all is OK again etc ...
I have tried all kinds of parameters (less or more fps, resolution, motion detecion on/off) but the problem does not seem to be related to these settings. The PC is running at 10-20 % CPU.

Re: BlueIris slow / remote desktop
I had experience a similar issue and it was all just a simple setting to change. I have my BI setup in a server closet so the only way I access it is via RD, this was becoming frustrating with the delay.
This is what the setting looked like when I was getting the issue of a dropped frames slowness:
This is what I changed it to and now it runs flawlessly:
Just go into your settings>Cameras>Change "Viedeo during Remote Desktop">Unrestricted

As software guys would say, "It's a feature, not a bug !"
