Hello
I have a problem that since version 5.8.5.8 it only records 5 sec. You can see the real time interval in the recording list, but not during playback, and since I went in avi, when you open the file separately, you can see that it actually recorded 5 seconds.
Setting: avi, direct to disc.
Do the same with any other settings.
When I reinstall the version mentioned above, everything works great.

File a support report and stay back.
We stay at least 2 levels back, usually more. I do have a "lab" system that I keep up to the latest for test purposes.
You probably have some hardware/software combination that they couldn't test.

I stopped updating to the latest ages ago when being close to the edge of the precipice was no longer thrilling but scary

I’m on some ancient release from way back which for me just works so haven’t felt the need to update oh and not forgetting that my support expired quite a while ago so I can’t update even if I wanted to.
