Seems like a trivial task, but I cannot get this to work.
Have tried with both BlueIris.exe and BlueIrisAdmin.exe in the startup folder.
Using latest BI version.

Set it to run as a service!

Unless you are looking to auto start the GUI when you logon, think it will prompt for admin elevation as BI by default needs to be run as admin. If this is what you want to do have a look at disabling UAC.

I got it to start as a service using the settings shown in the attachment, using the MS-account password.

But I must still start the GUI manually. Strange that it should be so tricky to make it start with Windows, normally you just add it to the Windows startup folder.

You don't NEED to start the program again unless you are checking BI5. It will be working quite nicely in the background using less resources than normal. I run it like that, then use UI3 on LAN connected PC's to view BI5. You can hide your BI5 PC

I think he wants the BI GUI running when he logs in which is tricky as it always prompts me to confirm that the app is requesting elevation.

Yes, I have a dedicated monitor for my cameras at my office and it seems unnecessary to have to manually start the BI GUI every time I start the computer.

The GUI is an optional feature of BI (when run as a service) and needs to be invoked.

Write a batch file that does it for you if clicking a shortcut is too much trouble.

Thanks, but batch file did not make any difference, still not starting.

How about my old favourite Start up delayer ?

The free version may be old but it works for me and gives you control of when the program can start. I don't use it with BI5, but I do use it with Homeseer. Worth a try at that price
