Codeproject Shutting down.....

So what are we going to do now if this ai server is no longer updated? Does ken have a backup plan?

The AI project is not shutting down, AI has just moved to a new site!

My thoughts: Since many cameras can do AI identification themselves and communicate it to BI5 with ONVIF commands, that is probably the easiest and most reliable way to get "person", "dog" or "car" into BI5. There is also the "Plate Recognizer" for ALPR which has free and paid tiers. I think we are doing fine.

The power of CPAI is that you can add your own models, but I must admit, I did wonder how those CodeProject guys could pay their bills when they appeared to be working full time for zero money :?:

Once CPAI is installed and dialed in we should need to update it, unless new species are discovered in your local area :D
