P6SLite Camera, how to add to BI?

Post by x-man »

I have new very good PTZ dual lens camera but I can not find way to add it to BI, for this camera I must use P6SLite APP to control it and also EasyVMS working with this camera and in EasyVMS they using some P6S protocol for this camera...look line no ONVIF and I can not find RTSP path...

Do you know for some solution?

Thanks.

I see that you cross posted this on IPCAMTALK, so I am going to cross post my reply

What is the camera model and other info, when I search all I can find is a software app called P6SLite, sort of hard to guess when you don't give much info?

We need more info. Is there a specification list for it ? Can Onvif device manager find it ? Does it have a web page for setting it up ?
Temu means unlikely to be compliant with standard protocols.

Temu sells all kinds of legitimate products including Hik, Annke, and others. Plenty of junk, too.

You may be thinking Tuya?

Looks like a Hik knockoff on AlieExpress.

Well, will be easy if Onvif device manager can find it, also when I enter camera IP in browser answer is "500 Server Error", this camera working very nice in P6SLite app and also in EasyVMS software, no brand name on camera and also in app, just model number, no option to enable rtsp, very nice camera but look like they force us to use P6SLite app and EasyVMS!

Not Tuya, I have many other Tuya things, Temu online store!

Obviously a different camera than the one I linked above using the p6slite search term.

You can try Angry IP Scanner to look for unconventional ports if ONVIF Device Manager won't connect or doesn't find anything using port 80.

I have an oddball Annke PTZ that also claims to be Hik compatible with ONVIF support and RTSP. The catch is that it only provides those functions via cloud proxy authorization through the p2p app connection which needs to remain active for any ONVIF support. RTSP still works but without any significant control over the camera and the firmware is the worst I've ever encountered. Figured this out using ODM. Clearly unacceptable on any planet.

Other than that, it's a killer camera when it works! Unfortunately it now resides on a closet shelf until someone revisits the firmware and eliminates the cloud reliance for ONVIF authorization.

Look like just port 80 is open but not for browser access, this is very stupid solution and I can not understand why!
