Hikvision cam

Hi
Ive bought a BI license - and Ive connected my first cam - Hikvision 2CV2141G2. Ive figured out that I can connect it by two ways:
1. either as a Hikvision cam with login and password (from cam interface)
2. or as a generic ONVIF cam (ive created a user in the cam OVIF interface, and switched on ONVIF)
If I connect it as Hik (option 1) I have better trigger and alerts record, but I don't have sub stream. I can type /2 in the sub stream field in video settings and that way I have basically two main 4 K streams (second as a sub stream). Plus lots of CPU consumption.
If I connect it as a generic ONVIF cam (option 2) than I have main stream (4K) and substream (0,9K) plus ONVIF triggers, but it's triggers / detects alerts VERY poorly. Although with a way lower CPU usage.
So could you please tell me the best way to configure / connect my Hik cam ?
