CodeProject AI on Github
Hi all,
I'm presently running CPAI v2.6.5 as v2.8.0 didn't work for me. I can see CPAI on Github and they are now up to v2.9.4 with CUDA 12 support. Has anybody tried these latest versions ?
It looks like you can use the latest Nvidia CUDA drivers. Time to back up TimServer and try an update

Re: CodeProject AI on Github
I am on BI V5.9.9.11 and CPAI V 2.9.4.0 and everything appears to be working for me! I am not using ALPR or facial recognition, so I can not comment on the functionality of those features!

I've got some holiday time coming up. I'll add this to the list

Looks like v2.9.5 is the latest on the DL page. So did you uninstall and reinstall or just install over the current install & did the modules download as usual?
Re: CodeProject AI on Github
I uninstalled Code Project, then deleted "C:\Program Files\CodeProject" and "C:\ProgramData\CodeProject", then installed the new version!

Good news.. did the modules download and install correctly as well? I'm only using YOLO v8 but I've had issues in the past getting the modules up and running post an upgrade.
Re: CodeProject AI on Github
I just upgraded one system to 2.9.5 and all modules downloaded and installed correctly, but I am having issues on another system, possibly due to it being on a very slow internet connection, I am getting some timeout errors on YOLOv8 during the install. I am running the install for the third time and it looks like it gets a bit further each time before it times out! still waiting for the third attempt to finish or timeout!

Just installed v2.9.5 using YOLO8. Seems to be working fine out of the gate... did not have any issues installing modules.TimG wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 9:58 am Hi all,

Where did you see CUDA 12 support.. is there a changelog somewhere? I sure would like to be able to update drivers. Still running 556.12 to ensure no issues.. took me a bit to find that one too.

Hello Everyone,
I'm also facing issues with slow internet during module installation on CPAI v2.9.5. Does anyone have a solution to handle timeouts with slower connections? Also, is it worth upgrading to CUDA 12 for better performance or compatibility?

Mahirat.
