Alerts on an isolated system?

Im a fairly new user...I have read the motion setup but I cant find a way to give me alerts on my stand-alone computer. It isnt connected to the web. I would just like to somehow highlight the motion alerts on the video or in a list maybe so I can review.

Can you not just use the alert list on the main BI console screen, it will show a chronological list of the alerts, is that not what you want? Or are you asking how to get the entire system setup and running and detecting motion? Please clarify what it is you are asking about?

As well as looking at the "Alert" list rather than "New" or other folders, there is the Timeline to show all cameras and Alerts.

Please try to explain what you want to see, and add screenshots.
