Eufy Doorbell

Post by Pete917 »

I'm thinking about getting a doorbell cam. Does anyone know if the Eufy doorbells work with Blueiris?
Many thanks 👍

Does it have an RTSP video feed or ONVIF capabilities ? Unlikely if it is battery powered, but which model are you looking at ?

It appears to be a battery powered camera, so RTSP is unlikely. I think Eufy call it NAS compatibility but it seems a bit sketchy.
I do know that my Reolink doorbell camera works with BI5, but it is the previous model. It doesn't do two way speech with BI5, but it does have a 24/7 RTSP feed and you can read the ONVIF commands like door bell pressed in BI5 and Home Automation software.
I would suggest that any solution that includes a hack to work is likely to fail when the next firmware update occurs. I have seen that too many times.

Thank you. Yeah, I have had that before. Ticking along nicely and then all goes wrong at the next fw update.
