can't stream live in UI3

Post by stogs »

New blueiris user here. I amtrying to use it with Lorex cameras. I am able to see everything fine on my pc where it is installed, good over remote desktop. Cannot get live video to play in UI3. Just spins. I am using chrome from a Mac. I had the cameras going thru the lorex DVR, I have sense removed Cameras from DVR and went into my POE router. I can add the cameras fine. Really need to be able to stream them from the browser. Thanks.

Browser/UI3 on computers local to your home network is failing? That would be odd but we can probably figure it out.

If it is working on the home network but not from the internet computers, that is a much more common problem with definite solutions.

Does your problem look like this? A spinning wheel, no cameras displayed.

Try enabling the following settings on each camera in Blue Iris camera settings -> Webcast. Under "JPEG, MJPEG, H2.64 Web/mobile streaming":

[ x ] Enable; adjust encoder settings on settings/web server/advanced

After enabling this option in all your cameras, exit Chrome and re-launch it. Blue Iris UI3 should now work.
