I have had BI for a very long time, beginning with r2. I bought 2, then 3, then 4. Then on 3/10/2019, I bought a one-year service plan, which gave me a new key. Per my notes, on 6/18/2019, I *think* I installed r5 as a free upgrade under the service plan. However, in looking at my BU options page, it says that I om on "Release 4.8.6.3 x64", but on expiration note, it says Support Level is "extended" and expires 3/10/2020; further that it is "Version 5 eligible".

So, it *appeared* to be v4, but eligible for v5. So, I attempted to "Upgrade/renew" and gave it my v4 key (the one where I added the service plan on 3/10/2019), but it reports "This code has already been added to a license". I wouldn't have used this code anywhere other than this server, so I am confused.

Do I have v4 as reported by the options? If so, whey can't I upgrade it to v5 with this key? If I don't have v4, then is it already v5, though it reports v4?

There are some very specific steps you need to go through for the V5 upgrade. I'll see if I can find them for you.
