Blue Iris GUI on separate system from Server?

Is there any way to run the full Blue Iris UI on a different computer that is on the same local network as the machine running Blue Iris?
Using VNC to get to the UI is less than optimal due to the small low-res monitor on the machine, and Remote Desktop seems to only work on random occasions.

Define small monitor? The monitor that I have hooked up to my Blue Iris PC is 19" and runs at 1280x1024, a relatively low res. It handles Blue Iris well without issue. In regards to RDP, try changing "Video during Remote Desktop" to Unrestricted in Settings -> Cameras tab.

Monitor - it's an old 14" 1Kx768. The system is in a closet, NOT where I'd like to sit to work with it.
And you didn't understand my comment about remote access. I know how to use RDP - except that it has a habit of NOT working from my main Win7 system to the win10 system that Blue Iris is on. It just never connects. This happens on about 1/2 the Win 10 systems I use, and is a royal PITA.
This means I have to drop back to using VNC - which does NOT have a way of changing the video resolution.
Since the Blue Iris UI obviously has a way to communicate with the Blue Iris Service, I was hoping that the communication path could be used from a remote system.

Nope, unless you buy two licenses. V5 allows you to control remote systems but you need separate licenses.

How far is the closet from where you want to monitor BI?
You could run HDMI, keyboard & mouse over Ip to where you want the monitor, keyboard & mouse. They are called 'HDMI KVM Extender Keyboard Mouse' transmitter & Receiver. You can run them over Ip to several hundred feet. I haven't used them.

Or use Teamviewer or Splashtop. Both free for local use.

I'll have to assume that you didn't read my comments about VNC usage, as TeamViewer (and I would assume SplashTop) have the same restrictions on virtual screen size. i.e. they only allow you to use the screen resolution that the remote system is using for it's real monitor.

It's a free world, so you can assume anything you like
I do understand that Splashtop allows me to change the resolution of my remote headless BI5 pc by simply changing the resolution in Win10 on that remote pc. Working from the comfort of my lounge with Splashtop, I've just decreased the resolution on the remote BI5 pc from 1280 x 1024 down to 800 x 600, and then increased the resolution to 1600 x 1200 which appears to be the maximum, and it just works.
So, what happens with your remote pc if you disconnect the monitor and reboot the system ? Is it just that the monitor being physically connected is reducing your options ?
